Two Weeks +

Things I learned or remembered after having a newborn for two weeks:

  • Newborns go through lots of diapers. LOTS.
  • Breastfeeding is 1000 times easier than pumping.
  • If the lack of sleep wasn’t enough, the one-week-post-baby body is enough to make you not want to leave the house.
  • Kids (and especially babies) grow so fast. Take lots of pictures, and take them often!

  • Life still goes on. Life includes things like laundry, cooking, and taking care of older children.
  • Not everything needs to get done all the time.

  1. Naps are your best friend. The one you hope and pray that will never, ever break up with you. I can’t wait to meet your little guy next week!

  2. My daughter is almost one and I still find breastfeeding so much easier then pumping. I HATE pumping.
