A New Generation

My sweet grandmother (Gram) gave all her grandchildren little rocking chairs when we were little. Even though we are all grown up now, I know for a fact some of our parents keep these chairs out on display to this day. Even though she is no longer with us, a new generation of grandbabies has begun. And as they often do in families, the tradition continues. My mom and step-dad (the girls’ Grammy and Grampy) gave them the same little rocking chairs for their first birthday. Since we were away from home on their birthday they were nice enough to wait until we were home to send the chairs. They arrived today.

And the girls enjoyed them immediately.

Thank you Mom and Steve. The girls love the chairs. And we will start saving for the inevitable trips to the hospital they will surely cause!
